Dr. Tsighe says that the most rewarding aspect of being a dentist is the ability to positively impact the lives of her patients by improving their oral health and overall well-being. Dentistry can offer much more than just an attractive smile, and she loves unlocking people’s potential by removing anything that could be holding back their confidence.
Dr. Tsighe knew she wanted to be a dentist since the age of 8 because she had such a positive experience with her family dentist. The scientific and artistic aspects of the field caught her interest, and seeing how she could help people made it the perfect fit.
Dr. Tsighe grew up in the South Bay of Northern California and attended the University of California, Davis where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. She then went to the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She continued on with her training and completed a one-year general practice residence at the Cleveland Clinic. Now, she ensures her skills and knowledge stay up to date thanks to her involvement in the American Dental Association and California Dental Association.
When Dr. Tsighe is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons and likes to relax by hiking and watching basketball.
