Advanced Dental Technology & Services Modesto
A New Era of Dental Innovation Has Arrived
The changing landscape of dentistry and, more specifically, dental technology, is causing many dentists to continually seek new ways to improve a patient’s experience. While traditional techniques worked for decades, more advanced methods promise greater accuracy, added comfort, and faster treatment times. At Dr. Rosenbaum & Associates, our team continues to look to the future by incorporating the latest in dental technology, so feel free to review the information below and call us if you have any questions.
CT/ Cone Beam Scanner

Our Instrumentarium OP 300 CT/Cone Beam Scanner is a must-have for our dental office, as it provides a clear 3D visualization of a patient’s orofacial structures. We offer comprehensive care all under one roof, so being able to prepare treatment plans and administer complex oral procedures (i.e., dental implant placement, root canal treatment, etc.) is possible with the help of this innovative device.
Intraoral Camera

Our dentists no longer need to struggle with trying to explain to a patient what they see when examining the person’s mouth. Instead, we use an intraoral camera that allows the individual to see everything in real-time. Whether it’s visible pockets of decay, gum inflammation, or oral lesions, we can show the patient where treatment is needed and why, effectively removing any guesswork and uncertainty that may exist.
Digital X-Rays

The digital X-rays used today are far more advanced than those captured by dentists in the past. As 2D images, our digital sensors produce higher-resolution scans, allowing our team to easily view all areas of a person’s mouth above and below the gumline, including the teeth, gums, and bone.
Digital Impression System

Biting down on cold dental putty is no longer practiced in our office. Instead, Modesto residents can expect a more comfortable and precise approach: digital impressions. With our 3Shape Trios Scanner, we can quickly capture pictures of a person’s teeth, gums, and bite, producing a 3D model that lab technicians can use when creating a custom restoration.
Soft Tissue Laser

If a more balanced gumline is the goal, our dentists at Dr. Rosenbaum & Associates can simplify the process and shorten post-operative recovery by using the AMD Picasso Laser. Designed to treat the soft oral tissues inside the mouth, its concentrated beam of light removes excess gum tissue to produce a more even and aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Sedation Dentistry

Alleviating dental anxiety and changing the way patients view the dentist’s office is what we aim to achieve when recommending dental sedation. With nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation, we can calm the nerves of those who struggle to maintain regular appointments or who need help to remain still and comfortable throughout treatment.
